Unblocking our web pages

It's unlikely the school will block our material. If you experience problems accessing our resources you may need to get IT to unblock our sites for students in your school.

Basic unblocking

The simplest solution to unblocking is just to use a wildcard asterisk to cover all possible subdomains:
https://*.focusonsound.com

BUT - our domains are multi-level, e.g. https://fosuk.server1.apps.focusonsound.com/

So your school may need to ensure unblocking is carried out on multi-level subdomains.

If your school needs to unblock each subdomain separately, here's a list (especially useful when no audio is playing):

YouTube

The software also has optional embedded YouTube videos. If you want to use these you'd need to ensure YouTube is unblocked from the computers you're using. We often find that teachers are able to use these but students aren't.
